About Mary

I too am a parent, a mother of two boys (ages 7 & 6), and an advocate for education. I enjoy helping & coaching my children to be the best they can be by providing them the essential tools and support they need to succeed in their educational development. I also have been a certified Volunteer In Public Schools (VIPS) at their school since 2010. I have helped children ranging from ages 4-8/9 years old in settings ranging from pre-school through 3rd grade. In all settings from my home to the classroom, I love teaching and helping young minds develop into great independent thinkers and motivate them to believe in their learning abilities. I am a recent graduate from Kaplan University with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration. I am proficient in the areas of Math, Language Arts (Reading and Writing), and Science. The most important thing I can say is that any child/student who is provided the support they need is sure to succeed and flourish on their own later in life. If your child/student is struggling or would like a learning boost from a tutor, I am happy and willing to meet that challenge.
