Mary is without question the most conscientious and reliable pet sitter I’ve hired. It’s not easy for me to trust people with my dog, not only because she’s unfathomably precious to me (okay, I’m a helicopter parent) but she’s also standoffish and not always easy to deal with. Over the years, I’ve met several dog care people who were kooky, lax, unengaged, just in it for the money, or not trustworthy in one way or another. Conversely, Mary is proactive, a great communicator, warm, and minds the details. She’s well educated, has sound judgment, integrity, and clearly prides herself on not cutting corners. Mary approached my wary pup with patience and positivity, which won her over, and I got plenty of updates. Suffice it to say, she’s the only dog care person I’ve used that I would recommend unreservedly.
