About Matsy

Hi, I'm Matsy! I am an adjunct professor and freelance costume designer who has been supplementing my creative and academic work with childcare since moving to NYC in 2010. I have experience with all age groups from newborns to tweens, and am happy to provide a full childcare resume & multiple references. I live in the East Village in Manhattan and am ideally looking for recurring early morning drop offs, date nights or weekend babysitting hours somewhere I can easily reach on my bike (1-3 mile radius), although, of course I would be willing to hop on the subway for a family that is a perfect fit! I also have been blending my love for sewing and childcare recently, offering private hand and machine sewing lessons to kids/teens on the weekends.
