About Matthew

Hello, My name is Matt. I am a former special education teacher, with over three years working with students with disabilities. My former job involved managing a team of 9 students with moderate to severe disabilities, mainly those with autism. My team and I helped draft IEP's, create objective goals, and help our students reach those goals. I am trained in using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and believe in hard data to track student progress. It is easier to track a student's progress in order to make necessary modifications, if you are using data driven teaching strategies. I am comfortable working with students of all ages, and across a wide variety of needs. I have experience working with students with severe challenging behavior. Thanks for your consideration!
