About Mauna

Hello! I worked for a learning company called Lindamood-Bell for 5 years that specialized in remediation in reading fluency, comprehension, writing, and math through sensory-cognitive instruction (focuses on imagery-based learning). I was in charge of designing personalized instructional plans, working with students one-on-one, and monitoring their progress throughout to ensure they met their academic goals. I mainly worked with students from K-8 grade, although we saw students from K-12. I absolutely love working with kids and helping them learn to love learning and watching them grow. I just received my Masters in Education from the University of Redlands and am earning my Multiple Subjects Teachers Credential.
