About Maya

Hi! I'm Maya and I am a 22-year-old who just graduated from UCLA with a degree in biology! I grew up in SF and just moved back to the Dogpatch. I love working with kids and hope to become a teacher after graduating. A fun fact about me is that I am a black belt in karate and have 4 years of experience teaching martial arts to kids ages 4-16 (I would love to teach your kids some skills!), and I also work as an EMT for PRN Ambulance. In addition to providing basic childcare duties, I also love engaging children in educational and creative activities, such as arts and crafts, board games, reading, and outdoor exploration. I am reliable, responsible and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the families I work with.
