About Maya

Hello! My name is Maya. I am 23 years old and recently graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Sciences, Family Studies. My love for working with children began back when I became a summer camp counselor at the age of 13 and returned every summer until I was 18! Since then I have nannied/ babysat for multiple families with children ages 2-11, received CPR, postpartum doula, and mandated reporter training, and completed a summer internship as a student teacher at my university's preschool. I have multiple years of experience in childcare and knowledge from early childhood development coursework. I am a person who loves all activities such as arts & crafts, swimming, sightseeing, the beach, and everything in between! I am also open to helping with light housework (e. g. laundry, dishes, tidying up, etc.) Please reach out if you think I'd be a good fit for your family!
