About Meagan

My name is Meagan. I have dedicated my life to working with children and love helping children grow, play, and learn. From a young age, I loved caring for little ones. As a child, I was the oldest of 4 children. My youngest brother is 11 years younger than me, so I helped raise him. Throuought high school and college, I babysat for all of the neighbor's children, was a nanny, and worked at several summer camps. At one of the camps, I cared for children with special needs. After college, I worked in child welfare for six years, so I understand how to keep children safe and how to nuture them developmentally. I currently help care for a 2-month-old and have experience with infants. I am currently in graduate school. When I graduate, I will have my Masters in Social Work. I love doing arts and crafts and playing outside. I also love taking children to the library or on day outings. I love planning "theme days," such as "Christmas in July" and "Make your own water park."
