Hi there! I am a recent college graduate with a degree in literature and communication. I have been a tutor for the last 5 years, working with children from the ages of 5-15 on English, vocabulary, spelling, and language arts. While in school, I shadowed a class of kindergarteners 3 times a week and helped them with all school and homework. I also volunteered at an after school homework program in Volusia County, helping students from the ages of 3 - 12 with their homework in all subject areas. I have tutored over 15 families in almost all subjects. I scored a 34 on my ACT, and a 1950 on my SAT's. I am currently studying to take my LSAT. I have references upon request and with a desire to make your life easier, I am confident that I could be your families perfect fit!

Meagan was our ten-year-old daughter's nanny for one year and a half. In that time, A. began getting all A's in all subject areas (even spelling - her worst subject!), started playing sports (volleyball, horseback riding, and swimming), playing outside instead of on the computer, started eating her vegetables, and joined the school play! She has become so outgoing and saying goodbye to Meagan when she moved to New York was one of the toughest things I have ever had to see A. do. They still talk regularly, Meagan face chats and calls A. and she still looks forward to getting to talk to her every week. Meagan also house sat and dog-sat for us, did chores, cooked, and we considered her a "family assistant" of sorts. She was always punctual, helpful, on time, and we have yet to find somebody who A. feels as comfortable with. We miss her so much and any family would be lucky to have her!
