I am a college student working to earn a degree in occupational therapy. I am compassionate, hardworking, and trustworthy. In the past I have babysat, and worked as a camp counselor for developmentally disabled adults. As a counselor I assisted campers with getting dressed, eating, and doing activities that they wanted to do. Much of what I do as a counselor is also what I would be doing if I were a home-care aid to a senior. I have furthered my experience in senior care by volunteering at Gateway Home in Attica. My time at Gateway has given me experience in how to best care for elderly clients, their general needs, and relatability.

I was very fortunate to have Megan helping my Mom after a hospital stay. My Mom enjoyed their talks, and I appreciated her help while I was working and several times when I had to leave the house. I never had to worry while Megan was here!!! I would like to have her stay with my Mom again!!!
