About Megan

I like working with kids because because I believe they teach us just as much as we teach them. It's an amazing experience to work with kids because they all have different personalities and ways of approaching/viewing the world. I strive to care for them, impart knowledge and discipline, while also creating an environment that fosters fun and creativity. I started working with kids in high school, caring for kids in aftercare for 2 years, which taught me valuable skills in managing multiple children and interacting with them. Outside of this, I babysat intermittently. In my spare time, I like to read, run, participate in beach cleanups, and go to the beach with friends. One thing you should know about me is I am currently a student at Emory University. I recently volunteered at a hospice center which was a very valuable experience for me. Also, I am planning on majoring in business and anthropology.
