About Megan

I'm a bilingual Spanish immersion teacher and reading specialist with 8 years of experience in teaching grades K-4 in English and Spanish! I have my Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota in Dual Language & Immersion Education, and recently completed LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training, which is accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. I love working with kids and seeing the pride they have as they find success and develop a love for reading. I have worked with both Spanish immersion and traditional English schools. I am currently a 2nd grade Spanish immersion teacher and have a special passion for helping all students become fully bilingual and biliterate, regardless of any learning challenges they may face.
