About Meira

Dear Friends and Families, I began working with kids as a mother's helper at 12. This brought a foundation understanding of building trust, maintaining boundaries, and engaging with kids with games and art. After doing this for a few years, my passion for working with kids began to grow. I received a job as Teacher Assistance at Temple Beth Shalom. This provided me with skills and tools to help kids with learning disabilities, patience, understanding, kindness, and boundaries. Every kid has a specific needs in order to feel comfortableness with the authority figures. Along with this, I began working with a few different families as a Babysitter. This allowed me to gain more experience with working with kids. This last year, I worked as a driver with tree kids, two with special needs. This was a wonderful learning experience. Additionally I got certified as a Substitute Teacher for Albuquerque public Schools . Currently, I'm completing bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology.
