About Melanie

Hello there! My name is Melanie, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to potentially meet and connect with your family! I have various years of working in childcare and elementary age education. I am also a recent college graduate with a degree in Communicative Disorders with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology. I love working with kids because I understand and appreciate the pleasure it is to be included in a child's life. I love working with young minds to encourage, motivate, and encourage them to live happy and healthy lives. In my spare time, I like to paint, cook, and go to record stores to add to my growing record collection. One thing you should know about me is that I grew up in Burbank, California and am very familiar of fun things to do in the neighborhood! I also grew up going to summer camps and I even was a camp counselor while in college!
