About Melanie

Hello, dear parents! I am a very active retired teacher who lives in Carolina Beach. I am the proud mother of one daughter and grandmother to a2-year-old grandson. I began my babysitting journey at the age of 12 and spent all of my high school and college years babysitting, working as a camp counselor, and even working as a nanny in London! I taught middle school for 23 years at a local private Christian school. While my husband's job keeps him out of town quite a bit this summer, I thought it would be fun to provide occasional babysitting services to parents in need of a night out, an afternoon getaway without the kids, or possibly a part-time regular arrangement for the summer. I work out every day and spend loads of time on the beach. I also love spending quality time with my grandson and his parents. I love engaging with children and am a confident caregiver to babies as well. I have a very flexible schedule and am very reliable.
