About Melinda

I am a 38-year-old, mother of 12-year-old boy. My whole life I have enjoyed spending time with children. I have had various baby-sitting jobs since I was 15 for a few different families. I have a BA in Elementary Education as well as a certificate and additional training in Early Childhood Education. I have nearly completed my levelling certificate in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and hope to earn my Masters Degree in Special Education. I love working with children and watching them grow, learn, and thrive. I enjoy being outdoors as well as doing activities inside. I have ran a summer camp class and greatly enjoyed planning art and food projects as well as field trips for my students. I love to sing and dance and have a great time with my students. I am more than happy to help with small household chores and taking the child/children on outings outside the home. I have driven a small school bus on field trips with up to 15 children at a time, including school trips
