About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am a certified teacher who is dedicated to providing quality education for elementary aged students. I received my degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. For the past two years, I have spent my time working in an elementary school as a long term substitute for both 4th and 5th grade. This school year, I became the math interventionist, providing math support tutoring for small groups of students grades third- fifth. I have 5+ years of education and childcare experience. Prior to earning my degree, I worked as Preschool and Daycare teacher, so my experience ranges from toddler aged children up to 5th grade. My goal has always been to have my own classroom, but due to the current Covid19 situation, I am starting to rethink my plan for this school year. I would love to continue to provide authentic and meaningful education in the home setting in whatever way works best for you and your family.
