About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as fun, creative and loving. I like working with kids because they are never boring! I'm looking for a job that always me to continue working with kids without being tied down to a structured schedule. I started working with kids full time when I had my oldest child. In 2001 I began working in the school both of my kids attended. In my spare time, I like to garden, try new diy projects repurposing found items into fun yard or fence art reading and watching movies. One thing you should know about me is that I believe all kids have the potential to do whatever they desire and I love watching them achieve those goals. Also, when I am with your children I will love and take care of them as if they were my own. My skills include flexibility, patience, and understanding. I have also worked with kids with special needs in multiple settings including one on one, inclusive small groups, remote learning and more. I know basic ASL sign language and some Spanish.
