About Melissa

I can provide animal care in your home or mine. I have been an animal lover and pet owner my entire life. I have cared for many of my family and friends' pets in their home and in mine. Currently, I have 3 dogs and 1 foster dog in my home, but I would be able to keep your pets separate. I am comfortable with all mammals (however, no experience caring for livestock), and fish. I am also happy to water plants, bring in the mail, etc. I foster dogs through 2 local rescues and also volunteer as an independent rescuer where I work to trap stray or lost pets to get them off the streets. My current work position at a non-profit nature center requires that I care for our educational animals including reptiles and a bird of prey. My true passion is dog rescue and I believe our pets were put on this earth to show us conditional love and happiness! I will treat your pets as if they were my own.
