About Melissa

My name is Melissa, or Missy, and I am here to fulfill your childcare needs. As the eldest of 6 children, I have always been around children of all ages. After graduating high school, I enrolled in Elementary Education at Dominican University and completed 2 years, before getting sick and receiving a kidney transplant. I also have many years of experience with coaching young children in a baton twirling and pom poms group in the early 2000's. There were approximately 40 children in the group and taught classes that had 8-12 children each. Now that I'm in my 40's, I am able to stay at home and choose how I spend my time and make a career for myself. I am available to be a caregiver to your children, or elderly adult, if needed. Each parent has their own way of parenting and I am very respectful of adhering to the way you would want me to supervise your loved one.
