About Melissa

Hi! I have been training and walking dogs for the past 15 years. I have extensive experience working with dogs that are reactive on leash and toward other dogs. I believe dogs should want to learn and the handler should create an environment for the dog to be happy, thrive, and succeed. I never use aversive methods and base my training off of trust and mutual respect I'd describe my personality as dedicated, caring, and passionate have spent years learning everything I can about the various breeds and temperaments. A dog can improve any day and always brings a smile to my face In my spare time, I like to go for walks with my son and dog, create art, and read. I also enjoy mountain biking and outdoor recreation I am skilled in obedience and most behavioral hurdles. I work well with rescue dogs and have a lot of experience with properly handling anxious dogs. I excel with reactive dogs, leash training, and dog/dog reactivity/aggression issues
