About Mia

I started caring for seniors when I was 19. My mom and aunt were both caregivers and knew based off my personality that I would be good at it and it's something I've stuck with. I have a terrible memory in everything outside of caregiving. I joke with people that all my memory retention is used on that! I thrive on memorizing clients routines which helps with my time management skills as well as anticipating their needs. Down to the smallest details that tend to go missed or over looked, I will remember. I also do just fine under pressure or working around chaos, I just work easier in routines lol. My skills include understanding that they need extra time to do things. I make it a point to NEVER make them feel rushed because that's when most accidents happen. I have also been doing this for almost 12 years so I have enough experience to be able to offer suggestions to help make their life and their families lives easier.
