About Miah

I like working with kids because they are most of the time very forgiving, and always so creative which is an amazing thing to see. I started working with kids last summer as a swim instructor and lifeguard. I taught children from the ages 3 to 11 how to swim and form while also keeping them entertained and having fun. I have a sister who is 5 years younger than me who I've watched her whole life as well. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside with my friends and family. I like to paddle board and hike in the summer and snowmobile in the winter. I also like to play basketball and go for runs. I enjoy all sorts of music and I like arts and crafts. One thing you should know about me is I've been babysat/nannied for most of my life, and have learned a lot about my self from those who took care of me. I hope to pursue a career in journalism and will be attending CMU in the fall for a major in mass communications.
