About Michaela

My personality is engaging, creative, and attentive. I like working with kids because they keep me on my toes. I always feel rejuvenated after being around a kiddo. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, opportunities that are evenings and weekends, and for families that I could build a relationship with. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I had an after school job at a daycare. I also had multiple clinical rotations while I was in PT school working with children, both neuro-typical and with additional needs. In my spare time, I like to read, take my dog on walks, and spend time with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am a child at heart. Whether in my PT practice or other activities, I am always trying to bring fun and positivity into any situation. My skills include engaging kiddos in a new activity or game, listening to them when they are having a tough time, and encouraging self-discovery and building confidence.
