Hi there, my name is Mick! I'm 26 years old and in my spare time, I love to draw, write, and play video games. I have 2 years of experience with children ages 5 months to 5 years. Before nannying, I volunteered with different after school programs, working with school age children ages ranging from 5-10 years old. I'm in the process of obtaining first aid/CPR certification. I'm so fortunate to have discovered the joy of working in childcare. In the past 2 years, I've developed a greater understanding of childhood development. Setting firm and reasonable boundaries is vital to creating a stable sense of safety for toddlers. My persistent flexibility and patience aids my ability to de-escalate tantrums, while processing complex emotions.
