A bit about me: I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for over 10 years. I initially began working toward becoming an elementary teacher when I first started in college before switching my major to psychology. During that time I enjoyed volunteering, as a teacher's assistant, for 11 months at the Dasher Green Head Start in Columbia. I now have a BA in psychology and am currently working toward obtaining my masters in social work. As part of this degree I currently intern as a counselor at a local community service center with children and adolescents. With prior babysitting/nannying families, I have assisted in picking kids up from school, helping with homework, taking kids to the local park, library, and other events, as well as taking kids to swim practice/the pool, assisting with meals and snacks, assisting with bedtime routines, etc. I am always happy to call or do in-person meetings to better get to know each other and determine whether I would be the right fit for your family.
