My dad used to breed Beagles when we were kids. What's cuter than a room full of Beagle puppies? We always had dogs and cats. When my kids were young we started with a brother and sister cat. After proven care and responsibility by my kids, we began our search to rescue a dog. I went to the Shelter first to scope things out and brought the kids the next day. That's where we met Bandit; seriously the best dog ever! He was around 4 years old, a Border Collie/ Springer Spaniel Mix. He went everywhere we went; camping, the beach, hiking. He also went on his own adventures usually after a squirrel. He lived until 18 and brought so much joy to our family. He was caring, funny, adventurous and loyal. I do not have a dog at this time, as I live in an apartment and prefer a different space for my dog's everyday life. My daughter lives in Boulder and has two dogs, my 'grand dogs'.
