I'm a homeschool mom turned teacher/child care provider. I love kids of all ages! I've taught for 15 years, preschool through high school, gifted students, and learning challenged. I've been a nanny for a year and a half. Whatever the age, making movement, coordination, language and learning fun has been just as enjoyable for me as the children. I've been down the childbearing road and I still love to learn and use new techniques. Currently, I am working on baby sign language. The old school part of me does not use electronics. I read books aloud and take advantage of learning through play. The activities done are age appropriate and child-led. As a former homeschool mom and grandparent, I have experience with mixing in life lessons to our day as well. I'm First Aid and CPR certified, don't smoke, have a degree and a vehicle. I love all animals, but I am allergic to cats. I'm vaccinated for COVID and flu. I hope we can chat further to see if we'd be a good fit.
