About Mikelle

I'm a former Teach for America alumni with a masters degree in education. I've taught in Kansas City and Houston. Locally, I have experience in HISD, Katy ISD and Fort Bend ISD. I've also taught tutoring services online while traveling around the world (been to 55 countries!). I've tutored all ages from pre-K to SAT/ACT students with near perfect scores. I've taught all subjects and most recently special education. My 1st year teaching I taught disadvantaged students whose first language was not English. My 60 students were the highest performing 4th grade math students at charter schools across the state of Missouri with 3 years of growth in just 1 year. I'm passionate about growth, and through the years, I have discovered unique techniques to help students achieve their goals. I've been a lead teacher, data analyst, provided tutoring daily and on the weekends, worked alongside master level teachers for years, and I'm happy to help however I can!
