I have an extensive background in childcare. I began babysitting assisted at 11 and on my own with my first real job at 14. I have the most experience in children newborn up to 6 but I do have experience with ages up to 13 along with special needs. In the past I have cared for my cousin who has cerebral palsy. I am currently working in a daycare with the pre-school group of children that are ages 18 months to about 2 or so. Some of the things I work on with the kids are their ABC's, 123's, and colors. When I am working with older kids I like to do age appropriate science projects and with all ages even the infants I like to do age appropriate crafts. In the past I have done food shopping, cooking, cleaning and taking care of errands for the families I were working with. I am CPR certified along with first aid. I have some college in early childhood education and I plan on going back to school in the near future to earn my degree.
