About Misty

Hi! My name is Misty and I am a professional Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula with over 15 years of experience working with children. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, CPR certified and am also bilingual English/Spanish. I have worked in a classroom setting (6 weeks through preschool), worked as a nanny for over 2 years, and for the past 8 years, I was an overnight Newborn Care Specialist/Post Partum Doula for many families. I have transitioned from overnight care to daytime care due to recently having a baby of my own. When my oldest daughter (she's now 9 years old) was born, I was a Nanny and that family allowed me to take her with me. It was a beautiful arrangement, especially for socialization.
