About Molly

I am a former school teacher with a B. A. degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught preschool and Kindergarten at a private school for 10 years. Personalized instruction has always been my mission and I find one-on-one tutoring so fulfilling because it allows me to do that in meaningful ways. The care and attention that I am able to give my students during one-on-one tutoring is catered to their needs and it brings me joy to see my students make leaps and bounds academically. My goal is to teach to the child's strengths, incorporating their interests, while working towards set goals based on the areas they are struggling with along the way. Another part of my strategy as a teacher is to ensure that emotional needs are met. I hope to achieve this by providing my students the opportunity to succeed during every session, to be respected, and to feel both heard and appreciated. I use lots of positive reinforcement to boost confidence and make learning as fun as possible!
