Hello! My name is Molly. I am a Certified Child Life Specialist who, for the past 2 years, has been working in a hospital with children ages 0-18 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from Missouri State University. I worked as an assistant teacher at the University Child Care Center in Springfield, MO with children ages 2-5. I have also worked as a babysitter/nanny for the past 8 years. Additionally, I have worked as a camp counselor with children ages 2-6. I am First-Aid/CPR certified. I absolutely love kids, and would love to have the privilege of getting to know your child. I am a responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and fun person, who loves the outdoors and spending quality time with people. Molly nannied for our family for about 7 months during COVID when our oldest was doing school from home and our youngest couldn't be in preschool. She was amazing. I had such peace of mind knowing she was with the kids all day keeping them active and busy (without screens!) She had them outside every day, did crafts with them frequently, read to them, and played imagination and building games. Our kids loved Molly and didn't want her to leave each day. She was also very careful re: COVID and was a good communicator / transparent - we had to place a lot of trust in each other immediately to keep each other safe. She truly enjoys kids and has a gift for this type of work.
