Hello! I am Monica and presently I am seeking an opportunity where my background, experience, and proven track record can be further utilized. I am an experienced caregiver with over 25 years of care giving, cleaning, customer service, and management experience. I have provided care for both the mentally and physically disabled. I have managed care for those with Alzheimer , Parkinson, terminal illness, hospice, paralyzed, bed ridden, and those who just needed some extra assistance. I successfully completed The Manor Health Care Nursing Assistant Training Program with one of the highest grade completions in the class and as a result was assigned to manage the care for some of the most challenging needs on the Alzheimer unit of Leader East Nursing and Rehabilitation. I was a First Responder for a Large Plastics Manufacturer. I have been previously certified in First Aid, CPR, Infant CPR, and AED Training. I was an athletic trainer in High School that involved preventing, identifying, and treating a wide range of sports/performance-related injuries. In addition to having a thorough knowledge of the frailties and strengths of the human body, athletic trainers also developed close working relationships with athletes, coaches, team physicians, and other professionals. I took classes and seminars geared towards Anatomy, Sports Medicine, psychology, nutrition and physiology. I have also been trained in First Aid during my Military training in The United States Army at Fort Jackson South Carolina. I am an Honorably Discharged Veteran. I have been Awarded National Defense Service Medal, & Ribbon Bar for honorable Active Military Service as a member of the United States Armed Forces for service during the Gulf War period. Among many other ribbons, awards, and citations for attendance and performance. Residential & Commercial cleaning, carpet cleaning window cleaning, specialty cleaning, painting, and yard work. I am a Women's Ministry Leader at 1 Living Hope Community Church. My strengths are caring for people, attention to detail, and effectively communicating. I have a proactive approach to problem solving, decision making, as well as a commitment to quality, safety, retention, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
