About Monica

I am a mid-20s professional with a lot of experience with kids in many capacities. I have previously worked as a full time nanny for a family with to up to 6 kids at a time, ranging in age from 18 months to 14 years old, and have worked as a babysitter for many other families for kids ages 3 months and up. In my other work, I am also a Guardian ad Litem (a court appointed advocate for foster kids) and as part of that role have been an advocate for over 180 kids over the past 3 years, and while that role does not involve direct childcare, I do stay very involved with child welfare research and spend a lot of time visiting with the kiddos on my caseload and supporting their caregivers. I am currently planning to go back to school in Fall 2023, and am hoping to do some evenings and weekends babysitting as I wind down my role at my current job and transition in graduate school.
