About Monica

I have worked in a daycare with children ages 0-12 for the last 4 years! I have completed a 400 hr internship at an elementary school in worcester and also completed a research study with the first graders through Mass. General Hospital. At my old daycare facility, I spent the day taking care of meals, conducting crafts, playing outside, providing educational tasks, cleaning, and teaching kids manners. I have experience with communicating well with parents and providing them with thorough details of our day! I am a senior graduating college and am a Dean's List student studying Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Education. In the Fall I am starting at the University of CT for my masters degree. I hope to pursue a career as an SLP in a school system. I am very outgoing and hardworking. I would describe myself as very bubbly and fun, but I also like to be serious when I need to get a task done. I love working with children and I hope to pursue a career based around helping them!
