About Mrs. Marymalia

I am Mrs. MaryMalia, and I am passionate about people and see the beauty in every individual as every child does expresses themself differently and has different needs. I am quick to learn about and adapt comfortably to the needs of individual children/young adults. This educator is OG+ Certified by the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (Orton-Gillingham) as of September 2023 to better meet your students literacy needs. She has experience in leading large and small groups of various ages, personalities, attitudes, and social backgrounds of various grade level classrooms, and is passionate about working one-on-one with students that have what she prefers to call "challenges." She has a background in special education, in providing educational, social, emotional as well as behavioral supports/therapy's. She has provided families with school work assistance, customized tutoring sessions, creative and multi-sensory lesson plans, activities within/outside of the home.
