About Nanette

I am a mother of 2 and grew up in a large family of 9 on a ranch. I have an abundance of experience and heart. My youngest was born with a health condition that required around the clock care and a growth of knowledge. While raising two kids, I ran my own daycare. I have experience with all ages of children and many different family backgrounds. I truly enjoy interacting with children and seeing their joy of new experiences as they grow. My own children are grown, a Teacher and other a Dental Hygienist. I have continued to provide care as a private nanny but babies grow. I also have helped in my daughters class, Kindergarten & now 2nd Grade. On my days off I love to garden and with my grandsons. Life is more rewarding when days are spend with children. My goal is to provide the same level of loving and nurturing care that you would expect from yourself. While we try to teach children about life, children teach us what life is all about. Nanette was our regular babysitter from for one school year and then off and on for a second year. At the time, my children were 5, 4, and 2 years old. I was drawn to Nanette for her warmth, experience, and professionalism. My children took to her right away, and she handled everything for us, preparing meals, helping the kids tidy up their toys, keeping them safe, well cared for, and happily entertained. Nanette has a gift for recognizing each child’s strengths and good qualities, and she met each of my kids with kindness, patience, and genuine affection. When I was teaching and working from home she consistently kept the children engaged and content so they didn’t disturb me during class sessions. Nanette also helped with school pickups, and I always knew I could rely on her to be punctual and attentive. Over the years, I’ve stayed in touch with her and still see her occasionally at school drop off and pick up. She remains friendly, dependable, and trustworthy. These qualities made such a difference to our family during the year she was with us. We are so grateful for Nanette and I would highly recommend her!
