About Natalie

Having 5 years of experience working with children I am confident in my capacity to create a friendly and educational environment for the child in your life. In 2017 I taught music lessons (vocal performance, choir, and song writing) through the Americorps and California Institute of the Arts education program. This job required completion in a pedagogy course--I have been trained to teach students in a way that best compliments their learning style. Post graduation I worked for the Los Angeles Opera Education and Community Engagement Department where I worked as an Opera Camp counselor and administrative intern. In 2018 I was hired to be a long-term substitute teacher where I worked with students who needed a one on one learning approach. I am comfortable working with students who seek alternative forms of learning and may need more assistance with school work. Since Covid I have worked with students at home during quarantine.
