Currently I am a certified middle school math and K-12 special education teacher as well as K-5 elementary teacher. I've taught six years in the public school system and have most recently been teaching virtually through Elevate K-12. I have both a Bachelors of Arts in Education and a Master's of Arts in Teaching. As a teacher, I enjoy spending time with children. I enjoy subjects such as reading and math. Additionally, I also love games, both board and video, as well as scrap booking, and I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Prior to becoming a teacher I was a full time nanny from the time the child was 6 weeks old until she went to kindergarten when she was 5 years old. It was my experience with her that ignited a passion inside of me to want to teach. I am currently a bonus mom to my 5-year-old step-son Samuel.
