About Nicholas

Hello! I have a beautiful gift of being able to connect with kids. It has served me well working as a day camp counselor, a church youth leader, and as a literacy tutor in an elementary school. I believe my secret is genuinely enjoying engaging and spending time with kids. I love their honesty, imagination, curiosity, energy, and general openness. I have between 4-5 years total experience working with kids of all ages. In that time, I have shared my creativity by developing my own games and helping my campers write their own play to perform for a talent show. I have shared my patience and encouragement through one-on-one daily tutoring with 16 students ranging from first to third grade. I recently worked as a nanny for a family where I picked their 4-year-old son up from school, drove him to activities, and even pet sat for them.
