About Nicola

To Whom it May Concern, I was a caregiver for my Momma for 9 years. She passed at 93, peacefully in our home, in July 2022. I had many home healthcare workers come to my home; however, absolutely none were like Nicola. She possessed everything I needed for my mother’s care, and for my peace of mind: Patience, empathy, perceptiveness, dependability, great communication, excellent patient care skills, and a passion for doing the job. It wasn’t until I hired Nicola that I felt comfortable leaving town on a trip with my son. Something I hadn’t done in years. My Momma passed away while I was gone, and Nicola was there to help my brother in our time of grief and distress. She stepped in, was unflappable and compassionate. What was most telling was this: One day as Nicola was leaving for the day, My Momma broke through her dementia to say this, “Thank you for taking such great care of me”. This still makes me cry. I trust Nicola so much that, as I faced the possibility of having to care for my brother who has cancer, I have asked Nicola if she’d take care of him too.
