About Nicole

I am a recent graduate from Lehigh University. I have two years of babysitting experience, & recently started nannying part-time. Although I decided to shift career paths, I used to be enrolled in my school's College of Education. I excelled in a few courses related to special education and as part of course requirements, I completed a handful of hours of in-class observations, which included observation of special ed. instruction. While at Lehigh, I also served as a tutor at a local middle school after-school program. For my work I received end-of-year awards & was described as a "fierce advocate" for my students. I note this because this is a major reason I am passionate about working w/ children - they are our future and I believe not only in encouraging their imaginations, but also their autonomy. Furthermore, I worked as a summer camp counselor for 2 years in a row, working with kids aged 3-6 y/o. In this role, I helped plan various educational & creative activities.
