I am passionate about supporting families and enriching the lives of kids. I worked as a team lead at a YMCA daycare for 3 years. Here, I got experience working with children ages two months all the way to 13 years. At this job, I found my love for caring for children. I strive to make a positive impact on their development and provide a reliable childcare option for parents to take the time they need to themselves. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, ensuring a nurturing environment for children. I maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day and promptly addressing any concerns that arise. I respect the household rules set by the parents and am comfortable enforcing them to ensure a safe environment. When it comes to activities with children, I enjoy engaging them in a variety of games that cater to their interests, as well as using my experience to play with children in a way that supports their learning.
