About Noelle

I am highly experienced working with and caring for children. I graduated May 2009 from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a 3.495 GPA and a degree in Art Education. I am currently an Art Teacher at Weymouth High School and have been teaching since November 30th, 2009. I am certified in Art Education from Kindergarten through the 12th grade, and I student taught at Fort River Elementary School in Amherst grades K-6 last spring as well as at Central High School in Springfield. I was very torn whether or not I wanted to go into elementary or high school art education when I graduated. I am very happy teaching high school now, but I truly miss being around children, which I have been doing my whole life. I babysat my neighbor's children, a few of my aunt's children during my middle and high school years, and my two younger sisters growing up. Besides just babysitting, I also worked at the Little Gym in Medway instructing groups of 10-20 children at a time during high school. Furthermore, I worked as a Leader in Training Camp counselor at the YMCA in Franklin MA last summer with kids ages 10-12. My most recent work experience with children took place this past August-Novemeber 2009 where I taught for Education inc. at Westwood Lodge Hospital. I taught and tutored students ages 4-19 who had social and behavioral problems. To work for you this summer and help care for your children is a great opportunity to work during the summer months when I am not teaching. Also, Since I am working as a High school teacher now, I miss being around children and would love the refreshing opportunity to help you this summer.
