About Nyki

I recently graduated with my Master's in counseling and am in the process of becoming licensed. I am seeking occasional work that is flexible and I'm open to various arrangements. I have always enjoyed kids and have sought to keep youth in my life where I can. After HS, I attended University where I studied health and exercise science and psychology and competed on the Track and Field team (high jumper!). I often spent my weekends caring for younger cousins. My passion for youth and service led me to D. C. to join AmeriCorps (City Year) after college. I worked primarily with elementary school kids to support their academic and socioemotional development. I have six years experience working in diversity and inclusion consulting and mentor middle/HS youth in my spare time. I offer an easy-going, reliable, and communicative relationship to parents and a warm, fun-loving, and affirming style to young ones. I am fully vaccinated against Covid.
