About Olivia

Hello! My name is Olivia, a Communication & Journalism student at The University of Maine. I have worked with children ages 10 through 17, for the past eight years, with an emphasis on communication skills, safety & respect, personal growth, and most obviously... fun! My strides in childcare stem from experience in programs such as Seeds of Peace and MYAN (Maine Youth Action Network). Outside of work, I enjoy writing poetry in nature, singing, playing the saxophone, spending time with my family, studying, and trying new recipes! I am willing to adapt to many family dynamics and excited to exchange hobbies and routines with the kiddos. I am seeking a full-time position with a minimum commitment of 6 months. My rates start at $20 per hour for one child. I have experience with two families, and I am CPR certified, own my own car, and have completed online courses in child development. My approach centers on providing your child with a safe, routine-oriented, creative environment.
