About Olivia

Hi! I am a 2018 UVM graduate where I studied Early Childhood Special Education with a major concentration in both Human Development/ Family Studies and Sign Language. I have extensive experience teaching and nannying for neurotypical and neurodiverse children (birth- 5). I hold my level II Early Special Education license and have worked as a preschool teacher and special educator for both South Burlington and Burlington School Districts. Currently, I am a graduate student pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vermont State University. I am passionate about all things play and social-emotional learning. I love the outdoors, mindfulness, and art. I am highly responsible and organized. In my role as a nanny, I enjoy consulting with families around best practices and developmental milestones. Additionally, it is important to me to collaborate with families at the beginning of our time together to create a contract that considers sick time, vacations, etc.
