I recently moved to Philadelphia from a smaller PA city. I used to spend almost every weekend watching either my two nephews or two nieces. My childcare experience began when my first nephew was 6 months old, over 8 years ago. Throughout high school, I would spend Friday-Saturdays with him, and later, his younger brother. When I was 18, I spent 2 and a half weeks as my 6-month-old niece's full-time nanny as my sister adjusted to going back to work. I lived with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece in Pittsburgh for a year after that- helping around the house, frequently babysitting, and also working at a restaurant. I'm familiar with caring for children of ages up to 16. I'm also fully comfortable helping with homework, doing arts & crafts, and creating a fun and safe environment. All of my nieces and nephews have been babysat primarily screen-free, so I'm happy to adhere if those are your preferences as well! I'm looking forward to getting to know and support you & your families!
