About Paige

Hello, My name is Paige. I'm currently a college student but have plenty of experience with caregiving. My brother was diagnosed and later succumbed to a brain tumor. Due to this he had a traumatic brain injury, couldn't feed himself, had memory issues and near the end of his life was confined to a bed. Now yes, my parents were his main caregivers then given I was only 17, however I learned to do a lot of things caring for him. Feedings, dressing, hair washing, memory games and at home therapy. Other examples of my experience is with an older neighbor who had no kids and was near end of life. Also confined to a bed, I shaved and washed his face, washed his hair, fed him and did everything those who loved him would want. I never get frustrated, I speak kindly, I realize that these people aren't just people but someone's loved ones, a spouse, a parent or a friend. I'm not certified or anything of the sorts but I can promise I care for each person like they're my own family.
